HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Fulmar takes its name from the ocean faring seabird, and from my childhood in Cornwall, growing up by the water, racing regattas, and fishing with my dad on his boat, Fulmar.
I created the brand for women who feel most themselves in the ocean. Our wetsuits are gentle on your skin, resilient in the water, and made without petroleum-based neoprene - designed with care for both you and the sea.
With comfort, ease, and a love for the ocean in its soul, Fulmar is a soft to the skin, small-batch wetsuit brand.
The depths of the ocean is where all life originates. It’s also where a lot of pollution finishes up.
At Fulmar, we produce in small batches - not just to preserve quality, but to avoid the overproduction that fuels waste. Our suits are made in limited runs, and only in the sizes and quantities we know we can sell. Every detail is considered, right down to how we cut our patterns: offcuts from each wetsuit are repurposed into matching headbands, meaning nothing goes to landfill. It's a circular approach - slow, intentional, and designed to keep our footprint as small as possible.
